Strandbad & Camping — Schoren, 3807 Iseltwald, Switzerland

Der perfekteste Campingplatz, den man sich in der Schweiz wünschen kann. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit dort. Die Aussicht war perfekt, die Einrichtungen waren sehr sauber. Die Stellplatzgröße ist kleiner als bei anderen Standorten, wird aber durch die Lage und die Servicequalität wettgemacht. Die Besitzer und Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und aufmerksam. Die Lage des Parkplatzes ist recht gut (man kann nicht auf dem Stellplatz parken, da dieser klein ist und auf einem Hügel liegt). Aber der Parkplatz ist sowieso buchstäblich 10 Schritte von Ihrem Zeltplatz entfernt, also spielt das keine große Rolle

Wir wussten, dass es ein kleiner Campingplatz ist, aber wir hatten nicht erwartet, dass er so klein sein würde. Kein Platz zwischen den Zelten. Die Einrichtungen werden sauber gehalten, aber Sie haben am frühen Morgen keinen Zugang zu den Duschen, da diese geschlossen waren und Sie nur eine Toilette benutzen können. Auch kein heißes Wasser zum Geschirrspülen. Positiv zu vermerken ist, dass die Lage wunderschön ist und der Strandbereich atemberaubend ist. Das Personal ist freundlich.

Das Paradies auf Erden 🤩, Reisen kann überwältigend sein und dieser Ort hat uns daran erinnert, langsamer zu werden, zu entspannen und den Moment zu genießen. In Iseltwald selbst könnte es viel los sein, aber nur wenige Meter entfernt war diese Camping-/Fassunterkunft perfekt, um mit der Natur in Kontakt zu kommen, und bot gleichzeitig alles, was wir brauchten. Wir haben Marius und seine Mitarbeiter getroffen. Sehr nett und sie sind bereit zu helfen. Einer der Orte, an die wir uns immer erinnern werden ❤️

Very small campsite for smaller tents. All 9 pitches have an incredible view. Staff here are very friendly. The facilities are very clean and spacious. The bar serves great cocktails and beer too. Very glad we changed our plans and stayed here! Just incredible.

We stayed in one of the barrel houses, which was quite comfortable! It got pretty hot during the day though, but we slept with the door open and that was fine. The location is perfect, right on the water. I am giving 3 stars though because some of the employees were up until 2am playing music and talking loudly to the point it could be heard up in the campground, which I found disappointing for a Wednesday night. It woke me up and I walked down to try to ask them to keep it down, but the entrance to the bistro was closed and I could not walk in. I would expect campground employees to be more considerate of noise

My partner and I stayed at this campsite in the barrel accommodation. Firstly the location of the small campsite is perfect, with serene views of the lake. The barrel had enough space for two people and good storage, as well as a small outdoor garden space. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall a great stay and would recommend. However, something to bare in mind is that on the days we were there (mid July) the barrel got very hot during the day and can’t be aired out without having door wide open, but cooled down quickly in the evening. The pillows were also really uncomfortable, however the bed and duvet were okay. Additionally, having only one toilet accessible to the campsite out of hours was frustrating. We do also wish the cafe catered more for a wider range of dietary requirements i.e. vegetarian or vegan.
