This company has strange business practices. I wanted to order a laptop online. Computix provides false and misleading information about their stock levels. That alone constitutes unfair competition and a criminal offense. Therefore, it is completely unjustified for Computix to derive a claim from this and demand fees from me. I ordered from Computix believing the laptop was in stock. However, it wasn't. I was deceived. Had I known it wasn't in stock, I certainly wouldn't have ordered it, as I urgently needed the laptop. Computix kept me waiting for days. Sometimes no one even answered the phone. I was also not informed about the fees (which are completely unusual), and I never agreed to them. I urgently needed a laptop, so I bought it elsewhere and canceled my order with Computix. But Computix isn't letting up. Not only are they unable and unwilling to deliver, but they're taking it to extremes. Computix has initiated debt collection proceedings against me. I cannot recommend this company. I advise anyone who has received a debt collection notice from Computix to file a petition for dismissal. There's a very good chance the Justice of the Peace will grant the petition. Computix has already had to pay the debt collection costs of CHF 79 in advance. They will also have to pay the Justice of the Peace's fees of CHF 300. If Computix still refuses to accept the outcome and appeals the Justice of the Peace's proposed judgment to the District Court, they will lose at the District Court as well and will have to pay the CHF 3,000 to the District Court, plus approximately CHF 2,000 for my lawyer.
