We had a very pleasant stay during Christmas time here! The view was wonderful and very sunny - the hotel was above the clouds - which made Interlaken and everything downstairs very foggy. Our kids (age 2 and 4) loved the swimming pool and didn't care about the water temperature at all, for us wasn't cold. There is also a sauna to warm up inside the swimming pool area if you need it. Our experience at the restaurant was also amazing! The food was really good, the stuff very friendly and the kids were really happy with the drawing material the restaurant had. The breakfast also deserve a comment because was really good! Our kids have a lot of energy and its not easy to find a good hotel to stay with them. But I have to say this was our best stay with the kids so far - everyone love it.
It was fantastic experience. We stayed for almost a week in the middle of December. A view right from rooms was just stunning. Am I dead and see the paradise? The mountains in front of hotel, at the other side of a lake—seeing them every morning after waking up, and then at breakfast, waiting for Sun to change their colors from deep blue to shiny golden... It's impossible to describe with words this level of beauty. And the staff was making everything to make us feeling like home, and even better. True swiss hospitality combined with highest level of service. Extreme cleanliness. Delicious food. In my personal rating, it's the best Swiss hotel ever. Highly recommending.

We stayed here with my partner from 12–15 February, arriving via Zurich and driving about two hours to the hotel — already a scenic introduction to the region. We were lucky to receive a top-floor apartment facing both the lake and the mountains. The panoramic view alone feels like part of the experience, especially at sunrise and sunset. The apartment itself was spacious, clean and fully equipped — it genuinely felt more like a comfortable alpine home than a hotel room. The breakfast exceeded expectations. Although the hotel is rated four stars, the quality and variety were clearly closer to five-star standard. The restaurant also offers stunning mountain views, which makes even a simple morning coffee memorable. The spa area deserves special mention — it is far better than the photos suggest. The pool is large, and the wellness facilities include a bio sauna, steam sauna, Finnish sauna and cold plunge tub. Towels, slippers and bathrobes are all provided, making the whole experience very smooth and relaxing. Parking is extremely convenient in the private underground garage, with elevator access directly to the floors. The bar area is cozy and atmospheric in the evenings. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Nearby Interlaken is only a short drive away (with Lidl and Aldi available), while Grindelwald is about 45 minutes by car — perfect for skiing or sledding. A very useful bonus: the ski lift ticket also includes the local train transport. Overall: a relaxing mountain retreat with exceptional views, strong wellness facilities and comfort above its category. We would definitely return.
