I don’t even know where to begin. this hotel is nothing short of magical. It truly feels like heaven on earth. From the moment you arrive, the service is beyond exceptional. Being greeted personally by the Patric the owner, who knew exactly who we were, took the time to connect with our children, offered them a gift, and welcomed us with such warmth, is an experience that is rare in today’s world. We travelled all the way from Australia to stay here, and I am endlessly grateful that we discovered this magical place. I had tears in my eyes the first time I stepped onto our balcony. The way this hotel blends grounding, moments in nature with the luxury of their rooms, spa, and dining is something I will remember forever. Don’t even get me started on the kids club, your kids will not want to leave! Everyone there should be extremely proud of the experience they’ve created for families. As we checked in, several guests told us they had extended their stay because they simply couldn’t bring themselves to leave and I understood immediately. I found myself wishing we could change our flights and stay another whole week. Two days was nowhere near long enough. This hotel is a heaven on earth, and staying here is an experience and you’ll wish you didn’t have to leave! We will definitley be back, next time to experience the magic of this place in winter ❄️ 🇦🇺
This hotel was an absolute gem for our large group! We booked four rooms—two spacious family rooms with bunk areas for the kids and two doubles for the grandparents. The sleeping arrangements were fantastic. We especially loved being able to close the door to the kids’ room so the adults could relax in the evenings. The thoughtful little touches made it feel five-star—like a kid-sized sink, games and coloring pages in their room, toddler robes and pool sandals, and even their names written on the bathroom mirror. The food was incredible, and adding full board was completely worth it. Breakfast and dinner were both outstanding, and we loved the option to grab a to-go box for lunch. The kids even had their own special dinner service with food they actually enjoy, followed by fun activities. Parents could either join them or enjoy a quieter meal in the main dining area. Breakfast was a highlight too, with a milk-dispensing cow and a pancake machine that the kids couldn’t get enough of! And then, the activities—truly above and beyond. There was a full daily itinerary to choose from, plus a kids’ club included in the stay where you could drop them off anytime. Our children had the best time and are already asking when we can come back.
We had a truly amazing experience from start to finish at the Märchenhotel, and we will definitely be looking to return this summer with our kids to check out all that the hotel offers during the non-snowy months as well! From the opening …
We had a wonderful time and enjoyed everything about our stay. The facilities for kids are great and the meals and wine tasting were extremely high quality. We appreciated the relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff.
We had an unforgettable experience at Marchenhotel Braunwald. From the check-in when the owners of the hotel greeted our family to our checkout, the service and quality of our stay was exceptional. There was so much to do with our children. They loved feeding the animals, walking the lamas, swimming and spending time at the Kid’s Club. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience, sauna, scenic hiking trails and wine tasting. We can’t wait to come back again. - The Eidinger Family
