Huber Kontech supplied and installed a custom garage door for us, costing several thousand CHF. Unfortunately, it doesn't close properly. Instead of finding a solution, they blamed the uneven garage floor and offered a threshold for an additional 720 CHF. "This retrofit is not part of our door delivery and therefore not our responsibility," was the comment from top management. We had to find a solution ourselves, at our own expense and through our own research. In the future, we will only consider companies that complete projects cleanly and competently from the start. Because with Huber Kontech, you're out of luck!
Unfortunately, the managers don't seem to care about the people they recruit. I traveled 900km for an interview only to be told that it wasn't really a good fit, something they could have known beforehand (the possibility of a Zoom interview was denied).
I'd like to add the following regarding the completed work: The entire project went perfectly from start to finish, and since yesterday I've been the proud owner of this fantastic finished product. The garden gate was manufactured in a solid, rust-free construction, and each individual part was expertly welded together with beautiful welds. Furthermore, this masterpiece was fitted to the existing terrain with millimeter precision. From 8:50 to 9:40, nobody helps, nobody unloads, nobody's there. It's a disaster; you have to waste an hour to get two boxes to the delivery driver. Whoever comes to deliver has to allow an hour.
