I had my grandmother's silk Persian rug cleaned and restored. The owner came to my home personally with an employee and advised me. She liked the rug; my grandmother had brought it back from Persia herself a long time ago. I opted for the more expensive repair option. It turned out FABULOUS! The colors, the sheen, the fineness—simply incredible and beautiful. It seems these people still know how to do things like this. A rare craft these days. Okay, it cost CHF 3,000 (which I knew), but that's about the same price as buying a mass-produced rug from a furniture store. The rug measures 170 x 200 cm. I should also mention that I paid the amount immediately upon receiving the invoice. However, I was in the process of moving at the time and asked them to leave the rug with me until I found a suitable place for it. It was absolutely no problem getting the carpet delivered two years later. These people are honest and very good!
