Overpriced for what you get. Safest option is to go with salad bar. Many times under cooked or overcooked - typically related to side dishes such as potatoes or rice. Not going to mention the protein portion, that is drama for a book. Too bad it will not change since it does not have a valid competitor around. The biggest positive is the stuff, always smiling and making the atmosphere quite nice.
Nice atmosphere especially when peak times are skipped. During peak time can be a bit too busy. Food is nice, even if slightly pricy for a canteen kind of a place. Outside of lunch hours you can still get a sandwich or a cake, juice, coffee etc. Staff is also pleasant and professional - I have never had any negative experiences! Mentioning it because some people had a different one). This comes from a regular customer :)
That's the canteen of Sunrise employees, among others. Beautiful inner court, wide choice of hot beverages and some baked goods for a heartwarming breakfast with colleagues.
I believe they don't taste the food before they serve it. If they taste, they will not serve half of the food. And it is an expensive canteen, an average lunch with a drink and a small salad costs around 25-30 CHF.
Found a little snail in the salad today(yes, a snail). Reaction of staff was quite unprofessional. Being a work cantine with those prices I would expect more in food quality and service Edit: the manager reached out and was really accommodating. Thanks for that.
Good place for lunch.
