Small Spar supermarket with a good and wide selection. Fresh bread from their own bakery (Frieswil), a fairly large cheese counter, and some pastries. Very convenient opening hours, including Sundays. It's worth supporting and preserving the village shop.

There are exactly two sales assistants who greet you with a smile and serve you quickly. With the others, I don't feel welcome at all. When I have a complaint, the way the assistants react makes me feel awful. They make you feel like you're not being taken seriously. The other day, I was at the checkout. The cashier didn't pay attention to me; instead, she kept chatting with her colleague. I find that incredibly rude.
