I spent almost a month at Posthotel Rössli with my team, and it truly felt like home. At the reception, Mara, Per, and Goska were always available and incredibly patient with our endless (and sometimes quite unusual!) requests. Their kindness and professionalism made every day easier. The restaurant team was just as wonderful: Collin, with his warmth and great sense of humor; Laura, who brought an Italian touch and always made us laugh; Catia, who welcomed us every morning at breakfast with a smile, already knowing our favorite orders; and Victor, who took care of all our lunches with impeccable service. Together, they created an exceptional and flawless team. The rooms were always spotless and well kept, and the food was delicious—I ended up trying almost the entire menu! I highly recommend stopping by, even just for dinner. You won’t regret it. And being right on the Promenade, it was incredibly convenient to reach everything in Gstaad. This restaurant is simply the best I’ve ever visited. The service is flawless, the food is thoughtfully crafted and wonderfully creative, and the wine list is outstanding. There’s absolutely nothing to fault.
We had an amazing stay here for 2 nights during the winter break. Room was spacious, restaurant was spot on with classic Swiss dish, and the people who works there were extremely helpful and friendly. Will definitely come back and stay here again!
Stayed there for 1 night with my family of 2 kids (4y & 9y). Overall service was very good: from check-in to lunch & dinner. Food was also excellent. On the to-be-improved side: a little understaffed on the restaurant side and our room (117) was right above the kitchen so until 22:30 it was rather noisy in our bedroom, but didn’t bother the bunker bed room were stayed our kids.
A very disappointing experience. We booked the hotel with the city tax included, but at check-in the staff insisted that it was not included. After showing our confirmation, they finally agreed that it was already covered. However, they required a credit card as a guarantee and then used it the next day to charge the city tax anyway, without informing us or even waiting until check-out. This felt very unprofessional. At the end, they have returned it again. In addition, we were never informed about our right to receive the Gstaad Card, which provides free access to public transportation. Because of this, we ended up paying unnecessary extra costs. The facilities themselves were good, but the service was a catastrophe.
