This management company is a real money-grubber. We have a washing machine in our apartment building that's about 20 years old. We've complained countless times, and instead of installing a new one, they've sent a technician about 10 times. Our clothes are getting brown, burnt-looking stains. But they don't seem to care. Currently, our roof is being renovated. You can see how they operate there, too. We only received information two weeks before the work started. There's deep drilling/foundation work that we can hear all the way into our apartment every morning at 8 a.m. We called the management company about a rent reduction, and the representative told my friend she'd call her back. She even left a message on the answering machine saying she'd check how much the reduction would be. After a week?! She called back and said what every lawyer has told us, what's all over Google. So instead of a rent reduction, she said to wait a week; we have to keep a noise log, and then they'll look into it at the end. ... Once again, it's clear that the management company is completely uncooperative with its tenants and is even making our lives more difficult. Many people are moving away, looking for new apartments, because the building has suddenly become a construction site, which should actually be announced two months in advance. However, the management company thinks that giving two weeks' notice (in the middle of summer) and closing the roof terrace from August 3rd onwards is justified because there was water damage to the roof, which is probably due to the fact that the drain holes on the roof have NEVER been invested in maintenance since we moved in two years ago. All in all, a management company that isn't exactly making any friends.
