The quality of communication at Swica seems to be a matter of chance. The outcome of a cost consultation should at least be communicated to me, especially since the urgency was clearly stated and the processing still took longer than promised. Instead, I have to research the result myself. And instead of taking responsibility, the service hotline refers me to the clinic, which has obviously already been informed of the outcome. They resort to bureaucratic jargon instead of directly answering my question about the exact amount of my co-payment. Especially since the fee agreement is right there on the table. I'm not treated like a customer, but like a supplicant. As a patient, this feels humiliating.
Everything always works perfectly. Very satisfied with the communication – open, transparent, and fast. Highly recommended.
I thought customer service was important at Swica, especially in the expensive insurance sector, but unfortunately, I've been frustrated for years with unprovided services, unilateral contract changes/new exclusions, and administrative errors at my expense. The quality of the feedback depends heavily on the employee handling the problem, but the much-vaunted benefits often systematically come to nothing...
Extraordinary termination of supplementary insurance refused. Swica does not offer goodwill. A significant premium increase this year – no longer recommended after being a Swica customer for many years. I should consider other insurance providers in the future.
The contract was signed, the consultant collected the bonus, and when we had some trouble, the consultant "dumped" us on to another agency without further notice. Absolutely unprofessional – the commission is the main focus here. It might work in the short term, yes, but in the long run, it won't work for the Lachen agency.
Today is not a good day for Swica. The policy was changed without consultation, there was no agreed-upon callback, my call repeatedly ended up in Zurich instead of Lachen... There have been better times.
