Our stay at this guesthouse was great! The room was super clean, and though the bathroom was shared, it was spotless. We were the only guests, so we had the whole place to ourselves—score! The location’s a bit out of the way without a car; buses are available but run every hour and sometimes in 2 hours . The last bus from Gstaad is at 07:30 pm , so make your plan as per that . Breakfast was simple—bread, cheese, fruit, coffee—but fine. The host was a gem, super friendly with great local tips. A cozy spot, just plan for transport!

We had a wonderful stay at Lauenenstrasse 5 in Lauenen bei Gstaad. The property was beautiful, clean, and perfectly located for exploring the area. The hosts Karen and her husband were exceptionally accommodating and genuinely lovely, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Gstaad! We were a biker group and couldn’t have asked for a better location or safe, secure property. Karen’s husband helped us out with a couple of our bikes that needed some adjustments.

4.5* Lovely accommodation, in a beautiful new wood house. It was a bit difficult to figure out who to talk to, but I as no one was there and the ring downstairs didn't seem to work. After a while we went in to search for doors to knock at and found the host's room on the first floor. The room was big and specious, with a big balcony full of flowers. Bedroom, eating area and shared bathrooms, were all very clean. Internet worked well. The sockets were weird (only the narrow kind), so we couldn't use the laptop and such. Breakfast is 8-10, so if you don't buy breakfast and plan to sleep in, it will get noisy on the upper rooms. The coffee was delicious! The breakfast is fresh but mostly sweet stuff and no veggies. The host speaks English and is very friendly. The tap water was so good that instead of buying, I drank that. Beautiful mountains around and a good place to easy go by car to Gstaad/Saneen.
Spent a weekend at the panorama in Lauenen. The rooms were clean, bathroom was clean too, breakfast was good and the location is central. Really good price point as well and friendly landlady. I would recommend.
