A very nice tasting, particularly the Schafis and the Chardonnay, although the Chardonnay had a bit too much oak influence. Stefan answered all your questions professionally.
They always have great sausages made with spent grain and, more importantly, great wine! The service staff is always on the ball and notices immediately when something is empty!
What an evening! I tasted many extremely good wines, and the best was saved for last. This winemaker also knows how to craft wines from up to three different grape varieties. A true symphony of good taste, seasoned with the story behind these perfect wines. Stephan really went to great lengths, but I unfortunately had to surrender to the sheer volume of information. In the end, I left his wine cellar with my head full, but this couldn't spoil the evening in the slightest, as the background information on the complex processes in the vineyard always influences the taste of the wine. Mr. Martin's wines are always a delight. We receive wine from Ligerz from one of our suppliers at our company, and the fight for the wine (especially Pinot Noir) has become quite intense. :)
