We stayed in Room 131, a standard room facing Allmendhubel and the ski school. Our party consisted of two adults and a 10-year-old child. The Good The hotel is very well located, right in the middle of Mürren, approximately a 7-minute walk from the BLM station if you are not carrying luggage. Breakfast was reasonable and exactly what one would expect from a 3-star hotel—nothing exceptional, but perfectly adequate. The Bad Unfortunately, these issues are the reasons we would not return to this hotel: The room was far too small for three people. The bathroom and shower were very uncomfortable. The small, curtained shower was particularly unpleasant—the curtain constantly clings to you, and no matter how you stand, water ends up everywhere. I eventually had to open the curtain and let the entire bathroom get wet. One of the advertised services is luggage collection from the train station. I emailed reception and was told to provide our arrival time. I then sent the details via WhatsApp but never received a response. As a result, we had to walk with heavy luggage. Do not attempt this with heavy bags. All three of us experienced allergic reactions for five days after entering the room. It was noticeably dusty and full of animal hair. From 11:00 pm until around 8:00 am, the ski school operates snow machines. The noise is extremely loud and continues throughout the night.
We spent three nights at Hotel Jungfrau in Murren. The hotel was very nice, with lots of closet storage for clothes, etc. The view from our room, looking directly at the Jungfrau was mesmerizing (see picture). The staff was very helpful, …
We loved the asian food here! The manager is very nice and the food is pretty good. We ordered the malaysian dishes. The dimsum was amazing. Not to mention, the view is pretty nice. We dined here twice during our trip.
Our family of 4 (2 young adult children) spent 3 nights in the Mosca house at Hotel Jungfrau Murren. It was 3 bedrooms with a kitchen/living room and less expensive than if we had rented 2 hotel rooms. Amazing view of the mountains out the …
Great hotel in Murren. Nice rooms, definitely book the superior for the view if you can. The staff is very accommodating, and the house beer is great. Great base for hiking and exploring the valley and they have a laundry service. The only minor issue is WiFi was a little spotty at times, but who cares you are in Switzerland.
The Hotel Jungfrau was an excellent choice for lodging in Murren. We were a family group of 14 and the Hotel Jungfrau was able to accommodate us in both hotel rooms and an apartment. The apartment was lovely and provided plenty of sleeping …
