We stayed here for a few nights. The check-in was a bit bumpy, but then we were shown to the apartment. It's quite spacious, and each room has a seating area. The bathroom with a shower is functional. The kitchen is well-equipped for everyday use, including various items for small children. However, it would be good to go through all the drawers, cupboards, and dressers and get rid of their contents (e.g., magazines from 1996, a charger for an Acer laptop?...). Basic cleanliness is provided, but don't expect the same level of cleanliness on a farm as in a hotel room or holiday complex. To get to the apartment, you walk through the family's house, which is a bit odd but also very homey. Otherwise, everyone on the farm is friendly and accommodating. Our daughter was allowed to use the children's toys on site, such as the Bobby Car and swings. We were also welcome to look at the animals. Mrs. E. Mathys was always very chatty and frequently asked if everything was alright. Even after we were invited to a wedding, she inquired about how it went – very thoughtful. It was perfect for us. Anyone wanting to visit a farm can do so here without hesitation.
Everything is just perfect here! The family who runs the farm is incredibly kind. The accommodation is clean and located in a beautiful setting! We'd love to come back!
We slept wonderfully in the straw and enjoyed a delicious and hearty breakfast. We were warmly welcomed and treated with great care. My daughter was allowed to see the animals and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you so much for the lovely short stay.
This is our third time here, and we're thrilled. The staff are incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast is fantastic. We're exhibitors at the BEA trade fair in Bern this year and are really enjoying this "retreat."
