I finally managed to buy flour there again. Finely milled whole-grain spelt flour. The children love the whole-grain bread. The price per kilogram for a large 5kg bag is comparable to the big supermarket chains; the whole-grain flour is even cheaper than at Migros. I paid 2.80 CHF per kilogram for two 5kg bags of whole-grain flour, one of wheat and one of finely milled spelt (28 CHF total). The only problem for me is the opening hours; I almost never get there early enough because of work.
A historic, impressive mill in the heart of Oberembrach, which grinds grain and sells it fresh directly from the farm. ☺️
A paradise for flour and grains, and one of the few mills still preserved and in operation. I hope it stays that way and highly recommend it for a visit or to buy something!
