We visited on Sunday morning around 1000 and they had very little pastries. Maybe because they’re the only place open on Sundays…not sure but the pastry I got was DELICIOUS!! Not sure of the name but it was a crescent shape with a whipped custard filling. So rich and delicious!
Friendly ladies that work here and they seem to know the locals well. Nice touch to add a hook to keep my dog outside. The Zopf was good, but I wish the Gipfeli was less dry.

Here you'll find the best whole-wheat croissants in the world (we've had experience with countless bakeries) and cheerful, enthusiastic service. Tip: Plaited bread by the meter (on Sundays), whole-wheat spelt bread, and Black Forest cake (not too sweet). Thank you, dear team at Zwyssigbäckerei, for all the delicacies in our everyday lives!
