An enjoyable one night stay just before Christmas, with the old centre of Stans atmospheric in the snow. The stylish minimalism of the (last few years?) conversion of this former monastery is impressive, but comfort hasn't been high on the …
I adore this place. On a recent holiday through Switzerland we planned to spend one night there but spontaneously decided to extend our stay. Good was amazing, people are super friendly and even the guest where chill, must be the location, a former cloister. The interior design is reduced and thus in harmony with the history of the place. We certainly look forward to our next stay there!
I have recently celebrated my birthday in the Culinarium Alpinum and I can give the restaurant and the hotel my highest praise. I have been in many hotels and restaurants around the world, from simple ones to luxury ones, but the Culinarium Alpinum belongs to the best experiences that I have had: from the beautifully decorated rooms (in my opinion in reality even nicer than in the pictures on the website) without any unnecessary items yet with all the necessary items to the excellent hospitality overseen by the manager, Mr Durrer, from the garden that invites guests to taste to the cuisine that relies on local food - everything was a pleasure and everywhere was attention given to the details. Maybe the most important aspect is that the restaurant had sufficient staff and the staff was friendly and attentive. Congratulations to Mr Durrer for his management.
Super noisy, "paper walls" rooms, you hear any conversation in the next rooms and you wakeup with the first person who wakes up in your corridor because doors are super noisy. However if you don't mind lacking privacy due to paper walls, you can enjoy very spacious room, friendly stuff and very good location.
Wonderful evening here celebrating a family event. Professional service from the waitress who managed to select wines to accompany ones that my friends had brought (paid corkage). The food was beautifully presented, super tasty combinations and who knew celery & vegetables could be made so tasty? Everything explained to us on the surprise menu perfectly in english by one of the chefs. All in all, a superb, friendly and memorable evening in a beautiful, tasteful location. Pure class. Will be back.
Nice place to stay and I had got a wonderful room named Berlepsch. Hill view was excellent. Curated menu and a stay for work.
