David gave me excellent advice on laptops and tablets. He took the time to understand my needs thoroughly and explained the differences between the devices clearly. Thanks to his competent and honest advice, I now feel very well informed. Thank you so much!
Incompetent, arrogant, and absolutely not worth a visit: I asked the young consultant about the compatibility of a product, as it was unclear. She reluctantly pretended to check, then denied that the product could be used. Meanwhile, I consulted the manufacturer's website and within 30 seconds discovered that the saleswoman was wrong. Instead of an apology, she simply took my money without a word. Absolutely appalling service and beyond embarrassing. Never again.
It's tragic what happened to this former M-Electronics branch. We were even served by the branch manager. But he's completely clueless about anything. It's rarely a good sign when a customer knows more than the branch manager. He must have done something completely different in his previous life. On top of that, he's unfriendly, demotivated, and overwhelmed. I'd rather not give him a star and return M-Electronic.
I was at Media Markt today and received very competent advice regarding my headphones. They also have a very wide selection. I'm looking forward to my next visit!
The employee is arrogant and doesn't inform customers that the same product in a different color doesn't have the same price as the one on display. Customer service is my foreign word to describe this employee. This employee is arrogant and doesn't point out to customers that the same product in a different color doesn't have the same price as the one on display. Customer service is a foreign concept to this employee.
It's best not to give it a star. Please avoid this store and support your local electronics stores. Mediamarkt will soon be acquired by JD.com, a major electronics retailer in China. JD.com also owns Shein and Temu. Mediamarkt doesn't care about its customers, but only cares about sales, and it shows. The advice is rather inconsistent; the employees express the impression that they'd rather do something else than work at MediaMarkt. The availability of any products, now, for example, in the online store, is not updated in the corresponding express store. Back then, M-Electronics was more honest, cheaper, and better.
