Meyer Burger stands for quality, innovation, and sustainability in the solar industry. The highly efficient solar modules "Made in Germany" impress with their performance, design, and environmental awareness. Particularly compelling is their clear vision for an independent, green energy future. With its focus on technology and responsibility, Meyer Burger is ideally positioned to remain a key player in the energy transition. The future is sunny, in every sense of the word!
As a small investor, I've lost a five-figure sum in Swiss francs since the very beginning. Luckily, I never bought more shares. I wanted to invest some money in Swiss industry, which went terribly wrong. Question: What does Meyer Burger still intend to do in Thun? I don't see any future there. And the entire management team should vacate the premises immediately. Things were supposed to improve every year, but they were making more losses than revenue—that's simply unacceptable, isn't it? The best thing about the past few years was the annual Meyer Burgers at the AGM, my in-kind dividend. It's a shame about the Thun location and the affected employees.
To recover the share price to my invested capital before the incompetent management slashed the price, the share price would have to rise to €150. The management's profile can be seen as analogous to this price difference.
Absolutely unfriendly customer service. This is unacceptable, especially considering the Asian competition, who clearly also offer very high-quality glass-glass modules with higher performance at better prices. A suggestion: If an interested customer calls with questions in the future, at least send a datasheet instead of irritably referring them to local dealers. Apparently, Meyer Burger doesn't need to sell its own product. Even in the premium sector, decency and a friendly approach to customers are essential. Well, let's see Asia take over!
Three years ago, I invested in shares with MB! I trusted and consistently supported Dr. Gunter Erfurt. Now, I'm at a break-even point of 0.30 on CFH 50,000, which I intended to invest in a solar roof from Meyer Burger in the summer of 2024. As a staunch supporter of Swiss quality products, I supported and recommended MB and Dr. Gunter Erfurt as a down-to-earth company. I will now not be installing a solar roof, and certainly not a Chinese one. Thanks, MB and Mr. Erfurt, for the expensive lesson! There are many good reasons why politicians and consumers should favor Swiss companies! Look at the EU and Germany with their traffic light system, which is nearing its end, and where businesses will soon have to apply for basic income support, if they have it. Five points for the product itself. Two points for active sales and revenue growth. Shame on you, MB.
Meyer Burger Black panels have been on the roof since June 2022. These were slightly more expensive than the other options in the various offers, but they came with a product and performance guarantee that no other module can match.
