The La Vita restaurant and bistro is located within a retirement home. It's easily accessible by public transport, and there's free parking within a 5-minute walk for those arriving by car. The restaurant offers plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The server was friendly and efficient; we were served about 10 minutes after being seated. Our drinks arrived another 5 minutes later. The coffee was lukewarm. Prices for food and drinks are moderate. The restaurant has a modern and contemporary design, creating a comfortable atmosphere.
I came here and asked the staff if it was open to the public or only for residents of the retirement home. The staff were incredibly friendly and immediately gave me a seat. The food was excellent, not too much, but that was absolutely fine as it kept me full all day without making me feel like I'd eaten way too much. I'd gladly come back again. It's a shame it's not open later in the evening.
We've been there several times now. Unfortunately, we didn't find the service good. Every single time, after the first round of drinks, we were left high and dry. We sat there for over 1.5 hours with a resident, and no one came to ask if we wanted anything else, whether food or drinks. We assume the staff doesn't receive any commission, and the clientele notices this, as they aren't asked again if they need anything. What a shame! Once, around 3 pm, we wanted a portion of fries, which we couldn't order. They were supposedly out of them. We suspect they just didn't want to turn the fryer on again 😝. And the tables weren't cleared for 45 minutes. In short, the staff is friendly but inattentive. This could easily be improved.
Fantastic, varied dishes, freshly prepared daily with great attention to detail, good value for money, and a very friendly and competent service and kitchen team! We love being pampered here :)
We were here yesterday to see Veri (comedy) and for dinner. The food was simply fantastic. If I lived nearby, I'd come here more often. A huge compliment to the service staff. Very, very friendly. A massive compliment to the chef. He really knows his craft. The soup was perfectly seasoned, and the meat was sirloin? It could easily have been filet mignon. Absolutely amazing. The dessert was incredibly delicious.
