After detailed consultation with Oliver Rindlisbacher, we were able to put it into operation after just two weeks. Various adjustments were carried out promptly (in one day!) and very reliably. We bought two Velora bike repair stands this fall. They're truly first-class; the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. We already had another height-adjustable repair stand from the Lucerne area, which isn't bad either (but almost twice as expensive and takes up a lot of space), but if I could go back, I would definitely buy the Velora one again (it's a shame I didn't know about it 15 years ago). One advantage of the Velora is that it takes up very little space. The second advantage is that you can lower the arm so far that the bikes don't have to be lifted. The quality of the materials used is top-notch (the stand from Lucerne is already rusting and losing its color). Unfortunately, one of the stands was a "Friday just before closing time" model; it can happen that one slips through final inspection. What I really have to commend the two guys for is their service. When I reported the problem, someone came the very next day to fix it. That's fantastic; it shows me that they're not just interested in making a sale, but that they're also there to help immediately when there's a problem. I would buy another one without hesitation!
