Very nice small village close to Luzern. We took the boat from Luzern (next to the main train station) which takes about an hour to Weggis. You can have a walk through the village and then go up to mount Rigi, either by foot or take the cable car to enjoy the beautiful view on Mount Pilatus, the Vierwaldstattersee and many other mountains. If you do not have a lot of time (or prefer to have a relatively easy walk) I would suggest to follow the signs to Rigi blick. This is approximately 40min walk and also gives you a nice view on the area. Please like the review if you think it was useful.
We stayed here over Christmas at an AirBnB and it’s a gorgeous location. You can get to Luzern by ferry or driving very easily. There’s a gondola that goes up mt Rigi where you can find a beautiful spa and take the train to the summit. The little town has beautiful views, some nice restaurants, ample parking and good grocery stores.
Nice place to get some info on the fantastic area. Worth a visit of few days , indeed. The views around are absolutely breathtaking. U should think of staying longer and also visit Luzern city and the surroundings,
