Very bad administrative service! Twice in just 6 monthts time they keep putting on my bill the cost of a regular baby vaccine which my baby received at the doctor. They don’t seem to get that baby vaccines are to be paid by them. Getting a refund or correction of the bill is such a tiring process, they just sent you between various departments w/o a personal contact. I am still trying to get a refund/credit for the bill they incorrectly charged me in December. Please get up to speed with your own policies and learn to issue correct invoices!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. León Noël Sierra (customer advisor). I had a protracted problem and a rejection regarding an adjustment to my SWICA contract. After I explained my situation, he, as my customer advisor, advocated for me and ultimately secured the adjustment. He took my case and my request seriously and acted in my best interest, investigating why I was denied something to which I was entitled. He even informed me of the positive decision by phone. It's wonderful that there are still advisors who are truly there for the customer and don't just answer the phone to be reachable.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Mr. Luca Cappiello, the agency's director. I had a minor incident that wasn't directly related to the agency, and initially, I couldn't get anywhere with Mr. Subotic. However, Mr. Cappiello personally took charge, took the matter seriously, and provided me with invaluable assistance through his dedication and expertise. This exceptional commitment deserves the highest praise. It's immediately clear that customer satisfaction and a solution-oriented approach are truly important to him. Thank you so much for the outstanding support – highly recommended!
Unfortunately, the service is extremely incompetent. For seven months now, no employee has been able to process my requests correctly. There are outstanding invoices that SWICA should be covering (initial prenatal check-up), yet I have to chase after each and every one. It's absolutely incomprehensible that apparently no one takes the time to carefully review the documents, but instead, applications are rejected hastily and without proper clarification. This is not what I expect from a reliable health insurance company. And after all my efforts over seven months, I haven't even received an apology for their mistake and the inconvenience and stress I, as the actual customer, have experienced. Not even worth a single star.

It's certainly not the cheapest health insurance provider, but the benefits are good. I've been with SWICA since birth and have never had a problem. You can call and receive competent and quick advice. What I also really appreciate are the Swiss-German-speaking customer service staff, which isn't a given these days. Plus, the new bonus program is awesome!
