Hotel Menzberg AG — Dorfstrasse 3, 6125 Menzberg, Switzerland

Très bien situé et excellent restaurant. Nous avons eu une chambre avec vue sur la vallée. Et comme c'était génial d'entendre des cloches de vache le matin. Le directeur était très gentil et le serveur du restaurant en savait beaucoup sur l'origine des aliments les plus utilisés dans les fermes locales. Le dîner a été une super expérience ! Le petit déjeuner était également très bien organisé et les gens étaient très serviables. La chambre était très propre et avait l'air très bien. Si vous aimez les beaux sites et la nature, alors c'est votre hôtel !

We went for lunch and ordered schnitzel with vegetables from what the server called the "extensive menu" for €31.50. The price-performance ratio was completely off. We were hesitant to complain because we didn't know where to begin or end our criticism. The menu stated that a large portion of fries was €31.50, but we each received very small portions of fries, completely soggy and unsalted. The two children's plates had more fries than the adult portion. The breaded schnitzels were very thin and had a strong, overly greasy, porky smell around the edges. The vegetables were perhaps the best part, but unfortunately, they too lacked seasoning. When I wanted to order a beer to go after our hike, a very young owner or his son told me not to throw the bottle in the woods or anything like that! I couldn't believe my ears. In short: We haven't eaten this badly in a long time. I know far better snack bars. This restaurant serves schnitzel and fries like no other. On a positive note: The service was excellent and very child-friendly.
