NUOVA RECENSIONE: siamo stati qui due mesi fa ed è stata un'esperienza favolosa. Ho scritto la recensione qui sotto che lascio qui per mostrare il contrasto. Sembra che l'hotel abbia nuovi proprietari e ci hanno dato una stanza davvero fredda al primo piano il 29 ottobre. Abbiamo chiamato la reception e ci hanno messo un'eternità per procurarci una stufa e quando finalmente l'hanno fatto non ha funzionato. Alle 2:30 ero pronto a partire e sono andato alla reception per ottenere un rimborso e prenotare un taxi. L'addetto alla reception non ha emesso il rimborso per la camera e abbiamo dovuto chiamare Hotels.com per convincerlo ad accettare. Ragazzo da incubo con un atteggiamento. Ha anche detto alla signora al telefono che fuori e nelle stanze faceva caldo. Poi raccontò una bugia come avevano prenotato altre 70 camere e che nessun altro si era mai lamentato. È un edificio grande e stanno risparmiando sul riscaldamento mentre caricano 150CHF e oltre. È un peccato vedere andare via il vecchio proprietario, qui avevano qualcosa di speciale. VECCHIA RECENSIONE: Esperienza fantastica. Abbiamo soggiornato una notte e sto scrivendo questo dal tavolo della colazione. Abbiamo mangiato la bistecca tomahawk nel ristorante dell'hotel dopo il nostro arrivo: degustazione deliziosa. Anche la colazione era davvero buona, ingredienti freschi, prosciutto e salmone di buona qualità e un'ampia selezione di cibi e chef che lo preparavano. La camera era perfettamente pulita, la doccia incredibile e anche come donna ho davvero adorato l'atmosfera da auto d'epoca in tutto l'hotel. Il personale è molto gentile alla reception e avevamo un cameriere adorabile che si è preso cura di noi.

L'hotel è ideale per una sosta sulla strada verso altre destinazioni. Ampio parcheggio, camere ben rifinite e personale molto cordiale. Vale la pena dare un'occhiata alla collezione di auto esposte; come appassionato di auto, l'ho visitato anche due volte :). C'è qualcosa di negativo da dire? Sì, c'è. La colazione avrebbe potuto essere più fresca. Non si adattava perfettamente all'ambiente dell'hotel e al prezzo.

Le buone camere e l'ambiente non sono la migliore posizione per il cibo non sono buone. Lo consiglierei se non rimarrai qui per l'intero viaggio un po' lontano dalla città.

First, the hotel has a bar right outside just at the entrance which plays really loud music starting after sunset. You would think they would have more of a calm & sophisticated vibe but this showed otherwise. At some point there was even really loud music audible all the way from our room in the upper floors at night until 1:00am. The rooms are spacious which was good, however they are really dusty. Besides, the rooms cannot be locked from the inside, meaning anyone from cleaning service can open the door from outside even though you’re in the room, which happened to us and they opened the door despite knowing that we were there. There was even a big spider web on the chairs outside in the terrace. Expected much more in terms of hygiene. Speaking of which, the terrace is not private there is just a small separating wall but once the person walks a bit to the front they can see all the rooms on that side of the floor. The museum was nice to see. The breakfast is quite average as there is not much variety for a 4 star hotel and some of the pastries were dry and the scrambled eggs were placed right next to the bacon in the buffet and some were using the same spatula to grab both which might not be a suitable option for anyone who doesn’t eat meat/bacon. One of the waitresses at breakfast was also really rude and never smiled at anyone. The ladies at the reception were really nice though.
