Disappointing – incompetent work by the mechanics and a lack of accountability from management The vehicle (Range Rover P530 L460, 2022 model) was serviced at this garage for three years. Later, another, competent garage in Zurich discovered damage to the brake piston dust boot. The damage was clearly not new and likely – though impossible to prove – caused by the brake piston being pushed back with pliers during the last brake pad replacement at the Ledi garage a few months prior. Instead of seriously investigating the matter, they simply stated, "It wasn't us," showing no interest in clarifying the situation. They even attempted to shift the blame to the Zurich garage, which had initially noticed the damage. Note: The vehicle was at the Zurich garage for a different reason – due to vibrations while braking. The entire brake system had to be replaced. During the subsequent tire change at the same workshop in Zurich, it was also discovered that one tire had worn extremely unevenly over a long period and was almost completely worn down at the very edge – something that an experienced mechanic at Ledi should have noticed. This, too, apparently went unnoticed, even though the vehicle had been to the Ledi workshop several times for summer and winter tire changes. Both sets of tires, summer and winter, are affected – a clear indication of a problem with the wheel alignment. This should have been checked. These defects are the result of years of incompetent maintenance by the workshop. Mistakes can happen – what matters is how they are handled. Unfortunately, responsibility was consistently shirked. The initial response was arrogant, and I was asked condescendingly, "What do you want to hear from us?" – by the management themselves. My two subsequent emails were then ignored. For an official brand workshop, this behavior is disappointing and unworthy of the brand's standards and excellent reputation.
They're fantastic! Professional and friendly, the owner is a truly pleasant, honest, and professional person. I went there to have my windshield replaced. The bodywork specialist is also very competent and, above all, exceptionally polite. I highly recommend them. Thank you! Dominique Descloux
