Wir waren auf der Via Alpina unterwegs und brauchten eine Unterkunft in oder um Altdorf. Wir haben uns für das Berggasthaus Haldi entschieden, weil es auf den Fotos wunderschön aussah. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Es war ein wunderbarer Ort zum Übernachten.||||Wir fuhren mit dem Zug …
Mein Bruder und ich stießen außerhalb der Saison zufällig auf diesen ganz besonderen Ort, doch es wurde ein wunderschönes Abendessen für uns zubereitet, obwohl sonst niemand zum Servieren da war. Auf jeden Fall bald ein erneuter Besuch in der Region. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und großzügig, die Umgebung einfach atemberaubend. Ein Abenteuer, das in der Nebensaison eine Überlegung wert ist. Mit der Seilbahn hinauf. Auch die Tiere können sich sehen lassen, wenn man die Terrasse draußen besucht.
Wir übernachteten bei Astrid in ihrem Gästehaus/Hytte auf unserem Weg von Italien nach Frankreich und hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt.|Wir parkten direkt am Fuße des Lifts und brachten mit, was wir für die Nacht brauchten, und ließen unser Auto auf dem Parkplatz stehen.|Wir kamen spät um … an.
We booked a place to stay just for one night while we were travelling to Italy. We had no idea we had to go to the hotel by cable. But it was really worth it. Great place to stay. Very warm and kind hostess. Hotel is basic but really cosy. Breakfast surrounded by beatiful swiss mountains and animals from the owner (turtle, cats and donkey). Pity that we had to go this soon.
It's not the incredible panorama or the nice and neet rooms, it is the host Astrid and Fridolin who will blow you away with their incredible flexibility. Something not on the menue? No Problem for Chef Fridolin! Thank you for making our trip a great experience!
Possibly the most kind and lovely human being I've ever met. Astrid definitely made us feel welcome and at home @Berggasthaus Haldi. If you have the chance to stay here, take it!
