On March 24, 2023, I was looking forward to a juicy rump steak: also called roast beef or striploin, which is cut from the hindquarter of the cow. This classic steak is usually characterized by very succulent meat. I was even asked how I wanted it cooked. The anticipation didn't last long, however, as disappointment came when the plate arrived... two thin, scrawny bits! When I complained, I was told that this was standard practice, the chef's interpretation. So, I recommend choosing something else. The cordon bleu, boiled beef salad, or schnitzel and fries are great and delicious, and a decent portion at that. With the rump steak, you'll be searching for the meat, and the out-of-season side dish (red cabbage in summer) was also watery...
Delicious food! Large portions. Nice selection for vegetarians too. Very friendly service. Beautiful location. Small children's playground.
