We had an absolutely fantastic time here! The hostess was incredibly friendly and extremely helpful – we felt instantly welcome. Our highlights: - The view: Looking directly at the mountains from the bed is simply priceless. - The breakfast: A lovely selection at the buffet with wonderful local products. - The location: A great starting point for hiking or winter sports, and there are several really good restaurants nearby. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing holiday for us. We will definitely come back!
A cozy, lovingly furnished B&B. The location is ideal by car, a bit more complicated by public transport, but very quiet and peaceful. Rebekka is a wonderful host! We thoroughly enjoyed the lovely accommodation, the delicious breakfast, and the interesting conversations. 🩵
This was our fourth stay at Mätteli. Rebekka is a lovely hostess. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen for cooking. We can sit on the balcony for hours, enjoying the peace and quiet and the unique view of the Wetterhorn. The Trift Bridge, Gelmerbahn funicular, Rothornbahn funicular, gorges, Lake Brienz, and the unique city of Lucerne are all within easy reach. The local mountain also offers fantastic hiking opportunities. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for the wonderful time.
