Perfekter Ort für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Sehr sauber, praktisch und komfortabel. Wir hatten ein Zimmer für zwei Personen mit Etagenbetten gebucht, was sehr schön war. Es gibt auch eine Gemeinschaftsküche, einen Essbereich, einen Trockenraum und einen Waschraum. Das Beste ist die wunderbare Aussicht vom Balkon.
Wirklich schöne Lage. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Relativ gute Kochmöglichkeiten, aber die Messer sind wahnsinnig stumpf. Seien Sie also vorsichtig, denn wenn Sie nicht vorsichtig sind, kann die Verwendung sehr gefährlich sein. | Ziemlich teuer für das, was es ist, aber genau so ist die Gegend.
Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt im Valley Hostel wirklich genossen und würde gerne eines Tages wieder dorthin zurückkehren. So ein warmer und erschwinglicher Ort in Lauterbrunnen! Es ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt und ganz in der Nähe des Staubbachfalls, der berühmten Kirche und anderer beliebter Fotospots. Das Gemeinschaftsbad war vollkommen sauber und es gab überhaupt keine Probleme. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet, aber wenn sie sagen, dass sie um 22 Uhr schließt, dann meinen sie es ernst. Ich habe nach 10 Uhr versucht, etwas zu kochen, aber der Herd ging tatsächlich aus. Das Zimmer war sehr warm. Auch wenn es draußen auf dem Balkon sehr kalt war, war es drinnen schön gemütlich. Das Ein- und Auschecken verlief einfach und reibungslos. Ich habe im Voraus um ein Zimmer mit Blick auf den Staubbachfall gebeten und sie haben meinen Wunsch wirklich erfüllt. Die Aussicht war perfekt. Als ich morgens aufwachte und die atemberaubende Landschaft von meinem Balkon aus sah, weinte ich fast vor Freude. Absolut erstaunliche Erfahrung!
One of the best hostels we stayed at in Europe! Perfectly located on the main street, close to the train station, restaurants, cafes, Coop supermarket, and the stunning Staubbach Falls. Super clean, well-organised, and very comfortable rooms with amazing mountain views. Friendly staff, easy check-in, and great facilities like laundry and kitchen. We’ll definitely be back!
Value for money accommodation. Near the station with a great view of the waterfall. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were excellent. They have washing and drying facilities for laundry and costs 5 fracs each. Avoid the breakfast. For 8 CHF it's not worth it. Better to cook your own or buy something at the near by COOP.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, I was debating whether to share my experience with the person at the reception (a man) who, because my English is not very good, had no patience with me at all from the first moment, interrupted me many times in the middle of what I was talking about and also raised his tone at me when I first arrived at the hostel and asked for the second time where the room where the luggage was located. Apart from the not very pleasant experience with this person (he is bald and I think he wears glasses), the rooms themselves are fine. There is a problem with the gas in the kitchen, a lot of people had trouble turning it on, but I come from the world of kitchen and food, so I was able to help them, this is not a joke, this is reality. The kitchen is very small but you can manage.
