Alles war perfekt!! Das Zimmer und das Badezimmer waren groß. Das Bett war weich und der Rahmen war so aufgestellt, dass man den Kopfteil der Matratze anheben konnte. Wir hatten einen Balkon mit Blick auf den Bahnhof, die Berge und sogar einen Wasserfall.

Eine Nacht Zwischenstopp auf der Durchreise durch die Schweiz. Außergewöhnlicher Kundenservice mit Personal, das fließend Englisch spricht und sich um alle unsere Bedürfnisse kümmert. Die Zimmer waren sauber, schick und komfortabel, das Badezimmer war modern und außergewöhnlich. Das Frühstück vor Ort bot eine gute Auswahl an Aufschnitt, Käse und Brot. Eine gute Wahl für einen entspannten und angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die Lage ist vom Bahnhof aus perfekt gelegen und ermöglicht eine schnelle Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Ich würde das Hotel Meiringen jedem empfehlen! Danke für den Aufenthalt!

This was a surprisingly good little hotel. It’s also bang in the middle or town. Right next to the train station. And an odd shape. What’s not to love, eh? But when you get inside the rooms are modern clean and - despite being on the road - very quiet thanks to double or triple glazing. Breakfast was excellent - a very wide ranging buffet including eggs embossed with the Swiss flag. Had a very restful night at the end of a tiring day on the Via Alpina and woke refreshed and ready for the next leg.

Upon arrival to Hotel Meiringen the staff was very warm, welcoming and friendly. The rooms were very clean had 2 large windows, comfortable chairs and a fan. The bed was very comfortable.We had 1/2 board and this hotel gave you a menu to order from! We had pizza and a salad. The food was delicious!!! The portions were large enough that we each took 1/2 our pizza with us for a delicious lunch the next day. Dessert was terrific as well. They give you a guest card that gives you many nice discounts as well as free bus service to many of the attractions and restaurants. They also had a finer dining area that was beautiful. Groceries, shopping and transportation are close by. We highly recommend this hotel. Another treat was we speak English and most of the staff spoke great English.

My husband and I spent a wonderful week in Meiringen at the Hotel Meiringen. The room was very clean and spacious, with a balcony offering a fantastic view of the mountains. The hotel provides a guest card that includes free gondola rides in the area and discounts to other attractions, which is very handy. Everyone at the hotel made us feel very welcome and was helpful and friendly. We had half-board as the hotel has a lovely fine dining restaurant and a pizzeria. Every meal was a wonderful experience, and they have great vegetarian options too. The location is perfect; it’s a great base to explore the Alps with easy connections to get anywhere. The town is not too touristy while being close to everything. We are already planning to come back and will definitely stay at Hotel Meiringen again.
