Dies ist keine Bewertung des Service in diesem Büro, wo alle äußerst freundlich, kundenorientiert und professionell sind. Es liegt vielmehr an der Politik und der Art und Weise, wie Rüschlikon langsam mit Gebäuden überfüllt wird, die sich gegenseitig erniedrigen und sich gegenseitig Raum und Sicht stehlen, nur um immer mehr Menschen hier zu haben, die Steuern zahlen, was aber sehr schlimme Folgen für die Lebensqualität hat. Keine neuen Grünflächen geplant. Das Hinzufügen einer Aktualisierung zu den Nachtarbeiten, die diese Gemeinde bis sehr spät (nach Mitternacht!) zulässt, ohne Rücksicht auf das Wohlergehen der Menschen, die in der Umgebung des Bahnhofs leben! Die Mitarbeiter im Büro sind äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit, effizient und unkompliziert. Jede Hilfe, die ich bisher brauchte, wurde unglaublich schnell und unkompliziert durchgeführt.

I've lived in Schlieren, at two different addresses in Zurich, and now in the municipality of Rüschlikon. Up until now, I've always paid my taxes on time in this municipality and at all my other locations. Until a year ago, someone always did my tax return for me, supposedly correctly, but unfortunately, I was always being ripped off – as they say in the local dialect – which I only realized a few months ago. As a complete novice, I then had to take everything into my own hands. Naturally, I missed several deadlines for filing my tax return, but I always contacted them. When I went to the tax office today for the second time regarding this unpleasant matter, I was able to immediately transfer the outstanding taxes by post and, with the receipt, go to the tax office a few minutes later to prove it. They've given me one last grace period for the remaining tax return, which I truly appreciate! The most important thing to emphasize in these lines, and I want to stress this explicitly, is that I encountered an extraordinary amount of understanding, incredible helpfulness, and tremendous flexibility and friendliness. In one of the last sentences my counterpart at the tax office said, "Yes, we are customer-oriented!" I could cite dozens of examples where this should be the case, but instead, there are only empty promises, and when it comes down to it, you're left completely unprepared, isolated, and alone. The way they treated me alone lifted so much weight from my shoulders that I absolutely must take this opportunity to sincerely and most heartfeltly thank them for their understanding and willingness to accommodate me. Hats off to such behavior! Not only other government agencies, but dozens of private individuals could learn a great deal from this kind of approach when someone is facing a difficulty they can't overcome alone! Truly more than just exemplary!
