Ich habe am ersten Samstag im Juni 2024 in diesem traditionellen Schweizer Restaurant zu Mittag gegessen. Die Speisekarte ist reich an Schweinefleisch und Rösti, wenig Fisch und es gibt ein paar vegetarische Optionen. Zu meinem Tagesteller gab es ein Dôle von fragwürdiger Qualität; drei Scheiben guten Kochschinkens, ein Kartoffelsalat und verschiedene Gemüsesorten inklusive Salatblättern in einer gut gewürzten Soße. Eine Scheibe Brot ohne Butter reicht aus. Der Service ist gut und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis auch.

Hochwertige und preiswerte Schweizer Küche. Exzellenter Service und Ambiente eines traditionellen Berner Hauses. Ich würde den Ort auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Wir freuten uns darauf, ein Schweizer Cordon Bleu zu essen, aber das Essen schien aus Tiefkühlkost zubereitet zu sein, was enttäuschend war. Trotzdem war die Kellnerin sehr nett.

A very beautiful, venerable inn in Wichtrach, right on the main road. The food (lunch menu with soup) was delicious, and the soup was particularly fine. The meal was served on lovely, nostalgic plates. The service was impeccable. The restaurant exudes charm and coziness; you feel right at home. Plenty of parking is also available. Excellent! 😊🍀

We went to the Löwen restaurant in Wichtrach and it was simply fantastic! Very traditional, but with a truly high level of culinary excellence. Super friendly service, a cozy atmosphere, and food that was simply a joy to eat. The salad dressing was absolutely amazing! My wife had a sausage and cheese salad (even though it was "out of season") and loved it. I had beef tongue with caper sauce and mashed potatoes – perfectly cooked, delicious. To finish, we had an affogato with Toffifee, a brilliant end to a wonderful evening. I was last here in 1997... clearly, I've definitely been missing out! 😂 We were there with friends and will definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful evening – see you soon! Best regards, Urs
