Mr. Dannecker charged an hour for the trip, even though Google Maps estimated it would take nine minutes and the repairman arrived outside of peak hours. He also charged for "time to retrieve materials from the warehouse," which I've never experienced before and shouldn't have been necessary, as only very general spare parts were needed. I recommend clarifying all possible costs in advance if you want to work with this company.

I contacted Dannecker Carpentry because the delivery and assembly service contracted by IKEA refused to mount the cabinet boxes to the wall, and it turned out I also needed a cover panel. The consultation over the phone was polite and helpful, and the work was completed quickly, reliably, and very precisely on the agreed date. In addition to the originally discussed job, I spontaneously asked the carpenter to install a few other things (for an invoice, of course). He was very friendly and helpful and completed everything to my complete satisfaction. I can highly recommend Dannecker Carpentry and will use them again in the future. Top service! Update: A year later, in September 2020, I asked Dannecker Carpentry to check if a dishwasher could be installed. It seemed to me that it might not be entirely straightforward, if it was even possible at all. I received quick and competent advice once again, a solution was found, and I didn't have to worry about a thing: electricians and plumbers were recommended to me (it's an old apartment), and a device was obtained at a discount. I am completely satisfied once again and highly recommend the company!
