Horrible. Ignorant, malevolent, unfriendly personnel. To be avoided. I bought some food from COOP and sat at a table of the COOP food court, intending to eat it. A COOP employee chased me away, saying that "no picnic is allowed" in a very unfriendly, offensive tone. I explained that I have food allergies and cannot buy the open salad from COOP, but I would be happy to buy a coffee and a mineral water. She did not accept my offer, and instead insisted to throw me out, at which I point I left. Dear COOP, your coworker is giving you a bad reputation. Please train your employees in basic human hospitality behavior. Malevolent, bigoted personell should not work in service jobs.

Unfortunately, it hasn't been so great lately. Vegetables are either bland or oversalted. Lots of fried or pre-prepared food, greasy, unimaginative sauces, and often dry or burnt dishes. The staff seem unenthusiastic and unfriendly. The only bright spots are the salad bar (not my favorite food in winter) and the service at the checkout.

I've been to the Coop restaurant many times, and I've always been treated kindly and the food has been very good. I don't understand the negative reviews. It's more like cafeteria food than Michelin-starred cuisine, but for me, the price-performance ratio is right. The only downside: it gets very crowded around the serving buffet during peak times.
