Top Service
Unfortunately, I had two very bad experiences with Mr. Bitterli. Case 1: Husqvarna Robotic Lawn Mower In the fall of 2025, we brought our approximately 10-year-old robotic lawn mower in for repair due to a defective bump sensor. We expected a final, realistic repair. However, we received back a completely disassembled device, loose screws in a small bag, and a long list of supposedly irreparable defects. The quoted repair cost was completely unreasonable. The result: 80 CHF for an analysis, a useless lawn mower, and absolutely no added value. Case 2: My Son's Moped In January 2026, we brought in a moped with a significant loss of power for repair. The agreement was: repairs up to a maximum of 200 CHF, anything beyond that only after a phone consultation. The subsequent phone call with Mr. Bitterli was chaotic and not very customer-oriented. A clear cost estimate over the phone was not possible; instead, I was repeatedly asked to come to the shop in person. As a manager, this is simply not possible for me on short notice. The call was abruptly ended with the comment that further calls would be charged. My wife finally went to the shop. The clutch was repaired for CHF 602. Shortly afterward, we received another call: the moped still had no power – the repaired clutch was not the cause of the problem. So, the wrong part had been repaired, and further investigations would incur additional costs. Due to the complete loss of trust, we agreed by phone that the moped would be ready for pickup by 6:00 PM on January 26, 2026, in its defective state but fully reassembled. Upon our arrival, to our great annoyance, the moped was not ready. Only after considerable pressure were we able to take it with us that same evening. For context: I am an engineer and certainly have a technical understanding. This isn't a case of unrealistic expectations or a lack of expertise on the customer's part, but rather a case of misdiagnosis and poor execution. We subsequently picked up the moped and had it repaired in Mümliswil – competently, courteously, and effectively. The problem was correctly identified and resolved there. Conclusion: – Two repair orders, both unsuccessful – CHF 80 for an analysis with no results – CHF 602 for a repair that didn't fix the problem – Misdiagnosis – Unfriendly, uncustomer-oriented service – Trust completely lost At these costs, I expect a professional analysis as well as respectful and customer-oriented communication. Unfortunately, I experienced neither here.
The brother doesn't know what he's doing; his prices are far too high and the quality definitely leaves much to be desired. The mopeds he displays are not in a condition that justifies the price in any way; it's simply disrespectful.
Very friendly, helpful, professional, and reasonable prices. Thank you very much.
We arrived by moped. The service was very competent, friendly, and fair. It was also fun and simply a great get-together. We'd go back anytime (although we hope nothing else comes up now :-)). Thank you both a thousand times! I highly recommend it!!
I arrived with my e-bike, which is on the more affordable side. The employee was friendly and took the time to answer my question, which I really appreciated. When he asked me how much the bike cost: "1200, 1400?" – and I replied "900," he seemed a bit surprised. Understandable, since in an environment where many bikes are in the 3,000–5,000 Swiss franc range, such a cheaper model naturally stands out. Nevertheless, I hope that even those with simpler e-bikes are welcome; not everyone needs a high-end bike to go shopping a couple of times a week. Next time, I'll try to get a quick service done. Overall, a good impression, hence four stars.
