Really bad experience with the staffs. Guess because we are Asians. We spent like 350Fr., but the lady was so rude to us. And the worst part is that after we finished the meal, she even asked us to move the car out of their private parking right away since we already finished eating, so to her we weren't guests there anymore. We couldn't even stay a few minutes longer to take photos around the lake and old Swiss houses nearby!! Lucky enough, there are many better and nicer places to go than this expensive place with rude service crews.

Great hotel in excellent location On the lake.close to many restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance.can walk to train station and boat cruise harbour.good room and very helpful staff and adequate breakfast.highly recommend this property and definitely stay again

Most likely not a place for those who don’t speak german like us, we just came by for a drink and some good looking ice cream. But we were faced with some very rude personel at the restaurant. We felt unwelcome from the first minute until the last. I am not even sure if the view is worth it. I much rather sit on the rocks watch over the lake than sitting here and having anything. There are far better places to visit in Brienz…

My boyfriend and I went here for dinner (not guests at the hotel). I made reservations two months in advance and they sat us the farthest table from the water. The waitress staff was extremely rude, dismissive and abrupt. If you are an American do NOT go to this restaurant . They will treat you like trash

I'd give it 7 stars if I could. The room was great, the views were great, the food was great, and our server was great. It was just great. My wife had the meatballs and we shared them...delicious. I ordered the pork knuckle....holy moly it was great! We also enjoyed the rowboat rental on the lake as well as running thru a water fall. Great place to stay. Highly recommend!!

The spring roll was delicious, but creme brulee wasn't that great. The views are breathtaking though..
