The property where we rent is managed by the company Calcul. Regrettably, they are handling it in a manner that can only be described as highly unprofessional, questionable, and absolutely scandalous. First, they were unable to provide a correct utility bill for months, and no sooner had we—after a great deal of time and effort—managed to make it clear to Mr. Häberli (the owner) that his view of the matter would be lost before the conciliation board, than the next round of harassment began. Now it's about the issue of parking spaces, which actually isn't an issue at all, as there are more than enough. However, my partner has Parkinson's disease, and in an advanced stage. Any thinking person can imagine how difficult such a situation already is, but the company Calcul seems to lack both the empathy and the necessary sensitivity for the situation. They truly care more about the "well-being" of a car than the health of a disabled person. For my partner, it is absolutely essential (and this was the reason we rented this apartment in the first place) that he can access the apartment without difficulty. This includes using a walker or with assistance, even a wheelchair. However, this is no longer possible, as a new tenant is claiming the left-hand visitor parking space. This space was clearly marked as a *visitor parking space* and has been used exclusively as such for the past two years. Now, with the current situation, and with the explicit approval of the Calcul company, there is a risk that neither the ambulance, nor the home care service, the emergency doctor, nor the Red Cross drivers will be able to reach the apartment's entrance/exit efficiently and as close as possible, simply because Mr. D. is allegedly unable to use one of the three available parking spaces below. This is definitely considered "not being able to control the vehicle." Mr. D. and Calcul Treuhand even officially admit this in emails. Mr. D. is supposedly afraid for his car, as he might hit the wall when entering the driveway. What is absolutely despicable, however, is the fact that this is pure, demonstrable harassment and a contemptuous act of human rights. The matter will now proceed before the arbitration board. I therefore strongly advise against doing business with this company!
