Even the gondola ride just before 10 a.m. was an experience: small, intimate, and very personal. Press the button, announce "ready," board, manually close and secure the door, and off you go. At the intermediate transfer station, load a few empty milk cans and the mailbag, unload at the top, and you're right in the thick of things. The staff from the mountain hotel are also there, unlock it, and serve the first coffee. Well, next time I'll bring my own croissants. However, she did treat me to a delicious piece of her apricot strudel. Free of charge :-) The hike up past Edelweiss, with a coffee break along the way and past Ruoggig to the Felchen Kiosk: an indescribable delight. Pure bliss: home, the heart of Switzerland!

Beautiful, long, and varied hike via Gisleralp 😁 Geissgrätli, Chinzig Chulm, Chinzertal to Muotathal. It was my first time in my original home region. The Uri region is absolutely beautiful 😘 Panorama, history (via Suworrow), etc. I'll definitely come again 🤞 The cable car is modern, not very big (8 people), but you feel safe. THANK YOU 👍
I have absolutely no complaints. Everything you need to know is clearly labeled, contacting the operator via the phone on the wall of the little train was quick and easy, and the ride was pleasant. The operator was very friendly, and we even bought some mountain cheese at the intermediate station on the way back – thank you so much! The terrain was absolutely beautiful for snowshoeing, and the trails were well-marked in the snow, even for beginners like me. I'd gladly come again... many thanks.
