This was my first time here, filing my tax return. Up until then, everything went smoothly; the receptionist was friendly and helpful. However, when I received my tax refund, I noticed that two receipts hadn't been considered as deductions, without any explanation. I then called to inquire why these receipts hadn't been used. The owner, Mr. Bletsch, answered the phone himself. He seemed annoyed by my question from the start. He said he would now have to charge me for the call. I told him he was welcome to do so, as I simply wanted my question answered, since I'm not very knowledgeable about taxes and was therefore seeking expert advice. Instead of a straightforward answer, however, a lengthy discussion ensued. Mr. Bletsch complained that he checks thousands of receipts daily and that offering tax return preparation as a service wasn't really worth his while. ...`` ``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` I expressed my disappointment and pointed out that, as a customer, I rely on expert assistance, as I am not a tax professional. No apology was forthcoming, but it was clear that he himself considered his behavior inappropriate in retrospect. In summary, I can only say: Never again! Especially as the owner, such behavior towards customers is unacceptable. Apparently, the company is doing so well that customer service is no longer a priority.

I always thought trustees were only for rich people. :) But I've been very satisfied for years now. We're completely lost in the tax jungle and have received expert advice.
