I was here today and got a great skateboard for only 10 bucks. The only paying with card at 20+ chf is a bit annoying so I had to get to shirts to buy it but I get it and honestly I’m glad because they really fit me. I love this place so much, it has everything you could ever need.

I have been a massive fan of Brockiland for the last few years, you could always find interesting items and often a hidden bargain but over the last month or two there has been a noticeable change. Pieces which would have previously cost 20 francs now cost more than 100… some of the prices are getting really quite silly (for example Bruno Rey chairs at 170Chf each needing restoration, a scratched up designer coffee table for 1200Chf, or a solitary Danish dining chair also requiring restoration for 450chf…) It feels like someone in the pricing department has gone crazy with Google lens, seen ridiculous prices on 1st Dibs and has put design shop prices on them… it’s a shame because it means a lot of furniture is now piling high instead of being sold quickly and reasonably. That said, you can still find a bargain or two. Hopefully they will realise what has been bringing their customers back week after week and change back to the old pricing style 🙏🙏

I am impressed, since the last visit, they have reorganised the entire store and it is big. The thrift shop is now clean, all the products are well displayed and sold at fair prices

My favorite Brockenstube. You can find nearly everything) and prices are mostly 5 fr. Very fair prices!

The Brocki is quite nice, but there are lots of trashy people shopping there. I saw a dad who encouraged his kids to annoy everyone by making noise with the pianos. He then threatened another customer with violence who calmly asked him to make his kids stop.

Now the toilet costs 1 chf. Used to be free. Some things are more expensive than a ie. caritas, some cheaper.
