What can I say? Perfect. Let me explain. Food court is amazing, hot dogs and fries are delicious, meatballs with mashed potatoes and peas even better. Store is good looking, all demos looks clean and good matched. IKEA is clean. I bought bed and mattress here and they are comfy for that money. Can’t expect more. Employees are kind and ready to help if you need something. No complaints at all. Recommend that place.
The buffet and the small supermarket are very nice but the space around the buffet is small and usually very crowded. It takes around 2h to explore the shop even without checking details. I ordered many small and big items for my new place over the past few weeks, and my experience with their delivery was very positive. Even though I chose delivery on curbside, they brought the items upstairs (with the lift) without me having to ask for it.
Great IKEA, but the parking garage exit needs to be fixed, the gates are insanely narrow - and from the insane amount of scratch marks on them - many have suffered from this issue. You don’t need three gates, do two wide ones and problem fixed.
Our 24 month-old PAX wardrobe's door's bottom hinge's screws no longer have any purchase on the wood leading to the door hanging dangerously loose. Wrote to IKEA and asked for a replacement door since the warranty is 10 years. Their feedback was that it is not a production issue - this is the expected quality and normal wear and tear. Offered me a free snack next time at IKEA instead which feels rather patronising. Very disapppointing.
Let me start with that I always loved IKEA and I still do. My problem is this specific store in Dietlikon. After the payment you have the buffet area where you can buy hotdogs etc..how is it possible that they only have 1 big table with 8 chairs in it to sit? The rest are stands which are too high for kids...we were there at 11.30am and it was a mad house...that 1 table was completely full which is understandable and everyone else with kids were just standing with the their food ...the kids wants to eat alone but they can't reach the big stands... really don't get it. In other countries there are plenty of seats in these buffet area and not just in the restaurant.
IKEA experience in Switzerland has been extremely disappointing. I bought a sofa and living room furniture on July 1st, 2025, and four months later it’s still not properly assembled. On August 11th, the team came but only installed the dining table and chairs. The TV cabinet arrived damaged and with missing parts, and the sofa came without its cover. On August 20th, they came again, but brought the wrong replacement part, and the sofa cover was still missing. The cover finally arrived on September 15th. On November 3rd, the assembly team discovered that not all the sofa covers had been delivered, and now I’ve been told the missing parts will only arrive on December 4th! This is unacceptable. I have already sent a formal complaint to IKEA and hope the issue will finally be resolved this week. Four months waiting for a sofa and a TV cabinet is simply too long.
