A lovely, clean gondola and wooden barrel, heated and with electricity. A great experience next to a farm in nature. Drinks are available for purchase at reasonable prices. Breakfast or dinner is available for an extra charge. Instant coffee is also available, but I would prefer a capsule machine. There were a few mosquitoes and flies, but I think that's normal on a farm. A great experience.
We spent a night in the stable. Mr. Fritz Berger is a very friendly host, and the conversation was very pleasant. The bathroom facilities were excellent, with instant hot water in the shower and a clean bed. A horse, a calf, and a pack of cats nearby—what more could you want? Not to mention a very good breakfast with homemade jams and eggs from the farm, with a fantastic view 😊🤗 We'd love to come back if we're ever in the area. PS: Please be aware, however, that in the immediate vicinity of the stable and animals 🐴 🐄 🐈, you may encounter flies, spiders, mosquitoes, or similar creatures. So, for the truly fair price, don't expect a 5-star 🌟 room in the city center. Greetings from Upper Palatinate
Enjoyed a wonderful overnight stay in a gondola bed. Wonderfully quiet and a fantastic view. The hosts are very friendly. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Great location.
Very nice! The hosts are very kind! We accidentally booked the wrong room! The hosts found a solution (thank you!). We were still able to stay here. Accommodation options include rooms with balconies and mountain views, rooms in a cowshed, and two teepees ⛺. The room we stayed in is currently unavailable. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back! Thank you!
We stayed here for one night each last year (2024) and again just now in May 2025, as a couple with our dog. Everything went wonderfully, and we received a warm welcome from the owner. It's a great place to stay, just 10-15 minutes from Thun.
We tried the Gondelbett experience. A pleasant concept, in a charming location, next to a farm, very quiet at night. Close to the bus stop (5 minutes) with hourly service from Thun, very convenient! A cheap minibar with drinks. One small drawback, however, was the bathroom ventilation.
