For takeaway, the owner is flexible enough if you want to order food from another day's menu. They prepare it fresh and gladly. The beef massaman and chicken adobo are recommendable. The satay is perfection. The loempia is a gigantic portion. Friendly husband and wife owner. Located near the Volg in Flaach.

We stumbled upon this little restaurant quite by chance while walking from the nearby campsite. Since my wife and I absolutely love Asian cuisine, it was obvious we'd stop here for lunch. We had a delicious red curry with pulet. It was very tasty, freshly prepared, and authentically served. We felt very comfortable. If you like orchids, you'll see a colorful display here, with more blossoms than I've ever seen.

Upon entering, you can tell it used to be a typical village restaurant/pub. It's understandable that the new owners didn't completely renovate the restaurant when they reopened this month. They probably wouldn't have done it any differently; the risk was too high after the pandemic with large investments. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The menu was short, which I think is great because it suggests high quality, which was indeed the case. The food was delicious, although they could have served a few more chicken thighs with the chicken adobo. The Pad See Ew was very tasty; I specifically ordered it with tofu to check if it was high-quality and not rubbery, and it was...very tasty tofu. All in all, I think this restaurant has potential. I'll definitely visit again and try something new. I highly recommend it for those who want to sample other culinary styles, such as Filipino cuisine.
