Staying in Lauterbrunnen, we took the cable car across from the train station up the mountain, connecting to an old railcar to Murren, walked down an easy mostly paved trail to Gimmelwald, took the Shilthorn gondola back down, and then the bus back to Lauterbrunnen all in one peaceful morning, and all covered by our Berner oberland pass. In a word, spectacular!
Beautiful sights beautiful sounds everything is like a postcard.
Finding a bench on a quiet road far from the rush of crowded areas gave a fresh breath just looking out of my head, daydreaming at the peaks of the surrounding mountains, it was blissful.
