Our stay at the Glacier Boutique Hotel in Grindelwald was truly unforgettable. We stayed in the Signature Room, which was spacious, modern, and perfectly clean. The highlight was definitely the private jacuzzi on the terrace — enjoying the warm water with such an incredible mountain view was an experience we’ll never forget. The hotel has two restaurants, and both exceeded our expectations. One is a fine dining restaurant with exceptional dishes, beautiful presentations, and top-quality service. The other offers a more relaxed atmosphere with a stunning view that makes every meal special. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Grindelwald — a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and breathtaking scenery.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Stay at Glacier Boutique Hotel We had an absolutely amazing stay at Glacier Boutique Hotel, and the Honeymoon Suite made it truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. The suite itself was stunning—spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable, with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains that you never get tired of waking up to. It felt private, peaceful, and perfectly suited for a romantic escape. The attention to detail throughout the hotel is excellent, and the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between luxury and alpine charm. Staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. Location-wise, it’s ideal—quiet and scenic, yet still very convenient for exploring Grindelwald and the surrounding areas. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Glacier Boutique Hotel, especially the Honeymoon Suite, to couples looking for something truly special. We’ll definitely be back.
I need to start by stating that this was a nice experience. And the hotel is great. But to truly have a 5star stay I need to state that they should improve some details that distinguish amazing hotels from the really nice ones. And this one falls in the later. There were moments when we realised the neighbours are loud and when we stumbled upon the hotel’s staff in the elevator one too many times. This being said, it was a nice experience and the dinner was amazing!
We have enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights with a beautiful view and experience through its location and decoration. Also, we've tried the restaurant for a dinner once and it was fantastic, however, one drawback is the limited choices in breakfast menu that needs to be taken care of. Otherwise, you will love the stay and vibes here. Highly recommended and will visit it again.
The view of Eiger mountain from our balcony was stunning! Modern room but keep boutique style hotel. In my opinion, it’s better to book through the Hotel official website. Just one small thing, the deposit amount was very high hope to reconsider about it. Many thanks to all staff they were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. Definitely we will come back one day!
What was meant to be a romantic birthday getaway became a complete disaster due to severe service and food-quality failures. Hair was found in one dish and large pieces of chicken cartilage in another. When this was raised, the restaurant manager—who was also acting as our waitress, serving food and clearing tables—displayed a total lack of professionalism, making it impossible to continue the evening. Despite reserving a table and confirming our request three times, it was given to someone else. We stopped the “chef’s choice” menu, went to bed hungry, and the stress resulted in a sleepless night. Although we were explicitly told the drinks would be covered, we were charged for them AFTER checkout. The facilities are acceptable, but the service is unacceptable. Management was absent, and staff were incapable of resolving even basic issues. Avoid this place if you value your time, your money, or a special occasion.
