Low price option for a trip in the mountains. No major views, but the mountain area has lots of cute farms and nice walking paths.

We took our kindergarten trip to Haldi. The cable car staff were very friendly during the reservation process and also on the day of the hike, and they were able to provide useful information. They even helped with an incident involving a child, ensuring the child was brought to the valley station safely. Thank you very much. Highly recommended for school groups; advance reservations are required for large groups!
Reasonable price for Switzerland. You pay at the top station. Friendly staff but not French-speaking.
The Schattdorf-Haldi Cable Car From Schattdorf, a charming little cable car ascends to its local mountain, Haldi, a small, tranquil settlement. When I arrived at the valley station at 11:40, the friendly cashier issued me a ticket for the ride up Haldi upon presentation of my GA travelcard. The journey was lovely, and once at the top, I enjoyed a magnificent view over the lower Uri region and Lake Uri. On the return trip, I had an interesting conversation with the cashier and a local resident. Thank you very much, and keep up the good work!
