The cordon bleu was unique and delicious, for sure. They lose one star because of the overpriced 8 CHF tiny stock soup. Service was excellent.

Extremely expensive. Salad + main dish + dessert + water was 200 CHF for 2 adults and 2 kids. The Rösti had burnt taste. The cordon bleu was bland. The dessert was great though.
The food is excellent, the staff are friendly, and the building is beautiful. One of my favourite restaurants in the location, and somewhere where I always try to bring visitors when we are on vacation. The staff are also absolutely wonderful,and you are treated to excellent service no matter if you are going in for just a coffee or a full meal.
What is ther to say. Escargo (baked snails) is wonderful! The wild boar and venison dishes are excellent! This is a "Must visit" restaurant that must be experienced!
Nice place to have a drink or something to eat after having a walk through the nearby forest and fields. They offer à la carte menues and also have a salad buffet (with a nice selection) à discretion. Staff is friendly and prices relatively OK for what you get. Will come again.
