Ver nice place to walk, hike or bike around with plenty of space to lay down and relax and enjoy the nice wievs. There is a paid parking next to the Gemeinde wirh many signs that toilette is in Gemeinde building. If you pay money already for parking here ( which by the way is totally unnecessare bcs there are many spots for free around the lakethough) one would expect at least the toilette then for free but prepare 50 cent for it!
Quite underdeveloped compared to some other Swiss lakes, but in no way is the beauty any less! Accessible via bus that goes every hour. Total time to walk around the lake is approx. 3 hours. You need to walk along the road with no footpath most of the way, however it is not busy with vehicles, even the locals seem to just walk the same way!
Known for fishing but also perfect for stand-up paddling with its great views of the surrounding mountains and tranquil waters. Many options around the lake to park, setup picnic and launch your SUP boards. The road around the lake is tiny, thread carefully if driving but also makes for an exciting trip.
The lake is beautiful, but you can find even more awesome and espetacular lakes, still, is a good place for a Sunday walk. Be wary, the road around the lake is narrow and bulky, not the best option for low cars. Too many people walking on the road and no sidewalk. And count with lots of bicycles. Park your car as soon as you can and just walk around the lake.
